Senior Project Manager

I have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Project Manager with Industrial Tier 1 contracting experience, in Kettering, to join one of the UK's largest Principal Contractors on a permanent basis. My client provides a range of fully integrated, versatile, and flexible services to Public and Private Sector Clients throughout the UK. The current project, based in Kettering is an industrial based project with a value up to GBP45 million. The current project will last for 12 months with further works to follow on the same site. As Senior Project Manager you will be an integral part of the project team and should hold a good construction management background. You will need to be an effective communicator with excellent people management skills. Being a team motivator with good delegation skills and a strong commercial awareness to ensure projects are built safely and economically to the agreed timescales and quality standards. Responsibilities: Responsible for delivering the construction of multiple structures. Direct and oversee completion of project. Develop a plan of action including schedule, resources, and work plan. Assess risks and establish contingency plans. Manage work and inputs from variety of stakeholders. Have substantial experience of managing projects. Attend meetings. Adhere to and follow all HSEQ policies in line with Tier 1 contracting. Have worked on projects circa GBP20 mil plus in value. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or a higher–level qualification in an engineering/construction discipline. Must hold all required site qualification and documentation, SMSTS, SSSTS + years of experience in project management or relevant fields. Responsible for delivering the construction of multiple structures. Strong communication skills.
