This position could suit an experienced Curriculum Manager with a Leadership, Management & Lifestyle background who is looking for the next step in their career! Key responsibility: To lead and manage the curriculum area, providing a highly effective and engaging learning experience aligned to the needs of industry, leading to exemplary outcomes for all students The Leadership, Management and Lifestyle curriculum area is one of the largest in Blackpool and The Fylde College with over 1,500 students. It is a vibrant and diverse community of practice, developing technical, professional and academic skills for now and the future. With facilities such as the Level 6 training restaurant and the regional gaming academy training casino staff, you will be part of a forward thinking and passionate team. The curriculum offers both FE and HE programmes which includes: Hair and beauty and related therapies Sports Public Services Business and professional programmes Hospitality and events Catering Tourism English Criminology What does the ideal applicant look like? The ideal candidate will hold: Degree level qualification in a subject relevant to the curriculum area Teaching qualification Postgraduate qualification Management qualification (desirable) With experience of: Successful teaching and current management in the academic areas within the curriculum in further (FE) and higher education (HE) in the UK Successfully developing and managing a curriculum area or equivalent team of staff Experience of successfully managing and delivering upon income and expenditure budgets Leading curriculum innovation and development to meet further/higher education and employer/customer needs Sound knowledge of a broad range of subjects and disciplines relevant to the curriculum area A FULL JOB DESCRIPTION AND CANDIDATE PACK IS AVAILABLE AND CAN BE PROVIDED TO YOU.
