Accounts Payable Manager - Interim

Equifind are working with a fast paced London HQ Brokerage house with hiring an Interim Accounts Payable manager. The firm are rapidly growing and seeking strong experience in AP and Financial Services. They have coverage in over 30 countries with a focus on Equities, FX and Commodities. The role is for an immediate need, with a contract for 6 months but there is potential for it to go on longer/permanent.

The role

• Looking for an individual to come in and head the team up and put all processes and procedures in place from scratch
• Proactive individual who can own processes and who can identify improvements is required
• Be heavily involved in recruitment, training and on boarding
• Ensure the team is capable of payments of invoices, journals in a high volume multi currency environment
• Individual will report to the Financial Controller, dotted line to the CFO
• Previous use of SAP is advantageous
• Strong system experience and previous migration also advantageous
• Drive weekly meetings with Team regarding ongoing queries and outstanding issues.
• Identify with the FC regarding process improvements and way to implement sustainable and robust controls at both a business and finance level
• Ad hoc projects for the FC and the CFO as required

Salary

• 6m FTC for an annual equivalent of GBP60–70k, based in the City of London. Hybrid working.
