DIRECTOR OF STUDENT SERVICES

EF INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGE CAMPUS

Full–time, permanent position

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Director of Student Services to lead a large team of managers and to be responsible for all aspects of the successful running of the non–academic departments in our busy school. Reporting to the Executive Director/ School Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of service to all students from the school's accommodation, administration, social activities, and welfare departments. You will support the management team in maintaining student satisfaction rates whilst meeting industry accreditation standards and safeguarding compliance.

A successful candidate is a dedicated leader with the power to motivate and grow others, a role model who leads by example and a team player who enjoys being hands–on to support their team. You are always accessible to a team within a challenging and fast–paced environment. As a Director of Student Services, you will also share the duties of the Designated Safeguarding Lead in the school. Student and Staff safety is your, as a Senior Manager, key priority. You are your Campus Ambassador and ensure that the campus and destination are well regarded in the wider EF world. Driving Customer Satisfaction in the school and the desire to improve quality are at forefront of this role.

This role will offer a very hands–on involvement and be a visible senior member of the team and the students.

Our requirements:

2 years experience as a senior manager running a team of no less than 20 staff

Ability to guide, develop, inspire and motivate teams
Proven track record in effective recruitment and HR
Relentless focus on customer service and quality
Global or international work experience
A model of quality & professionalism
Commitment to the highest standards of welfare provision
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage difficult situations & remain calm under pressure
Excellent cross–cultural communication, people and conflict resolution skills
Strong, confident decision–maker. Highly motivated, positive with empathy for others
Hospitably, sales and marketing experience is welcome
Ability and desire to combine big picture and detailed oriented thinking to drive a successful business, improvement and growth
Entrepreneurial spirit, comfort with a fast–paced environment
University graduate required; C2 level proficiency in spoken and written English, other languages are an advantage
