Finance Business Partner for IT in a large and very high profile business
Your new company
We are supporting a large energy services business with the recruitment of a Finance Business Partner for IT. The organisation are going through large scale finance and IT transformation and therefore this role is critical to the ongoing success of the organisation.
Your new role
This is a true business partnering role where you will work closely with senior stakeholders across finance, IT and the wider operational business. You will focus on developing a thorough understanding of the issues that drive cost and value across a large IT department with significant OPEX and project spend. Acting as a critical friend you will seek to drive improvements across IT and in turn the wider business performance. You will support the long term business planning and the budgeting / forecasting processes.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with a track record of influencing senior stakeholders both in finance and outside of finance. The ability to work at pace in an ever changing environment is critical and you will be experienced in financial analysis and investment appraisal.
