Data is everywhere.Its in nearly every interaction and transaction you make.From measuring your heart rate and helping choose your next favorite song, to businesses predicting their consumers habits and uncovering the next big thing.And when this data is captured, and used effectively, it can result in huge leaps forward.The commercial insurance market is no different.Intermediaries hold highly valuable information, however there has always been a gap between those intermediaries, and the providers who rely on it.Until now.Joining this rapidly growing technology business will put you right at the forefront of some serious transformational change in the general insurance marketplace.Their platform bridges that data gap between insurers and intermediaries and unlocks huge potential for sales streamlining and effective trading.In the position of Head of Sales, you'll be joining the beating heart of the new business side of the operation.Leading a team of talented Business Development Managers, you'll play a senior role within the business, reporting directly into the board.Your team are focused firmly on developing intermediary business and are tasked with converting prospects into live accounts.But not just that, they are introducing brokerages into the concept of modernisation, digitisation and the benefits of data.You and your team will educate insurance brokerages in understanding the capabilities of the solution and ultimately drive growth in premium traded and new accounts coming into the group.You'll lean on your market relationships and knowledge to help shape new business strategy, build out wider mapping of targets and play a senior role in the development of strategic relationships.Operating strategically, you'll have your finger on the pulse of the commercial insurance space, understanding key industry player's strategic aims and how the trading platform can align currently to their appetites and goals.It's a tech–based solution you have at your fingertips here so naturally, a degree of interest in data and tech will help you really succeed here.In this home–based role, you'll enjoy the start–up vibe of the business but take comfort in their already significant track record in the insurance space.It's an ideal role if you enjoy working in a senior role which faces onto the intermediary market but is much closer to the cutting edge of insurance.So, if you want to play your part in transforming the insurance sector, then we should be speaking.Salary including car allowance up to GBP90k.
