Legal Counsel

Taylor Root is excited to be partnering exclusively with a growing software client to find them a Legal Counsel for their successful and expanding legal team.

Our client is a PE backed company providing software to financial services clients. The business has grown hugely in the last five years with offices headquartered in London, with offices in other parts of the UK.

Reporting to the Head of Legal you will join a small, highly valued legal team. Day to day you will be responsible for drafting commercial contracts and dealing directly with customers and clients. You will manage suppliers and assist with new product launches and services.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior business and commercial people day to day and need to be able to translate the law into a language that people understand. You will be driven, super pragmatic, and able to build instant rapport. You will be a qualified solicitor from an in-house or private practice environment.

In terms of background our client would ideally like to consider candidates with great software and IT exposure - so a good understanding of SaaS is an advantage. However, if you possess excellent commercial contracts experience and have a genuine passion for Tech and IT, please get in touch.

The business is based in London with a flexible hybrid working model in place.
