Site Finance Manager / Financial Controller [FMCG] |Crewe |£63,000 - £73,000 + bonus (20%), healthcare, pension.

The Opportunity

Pivotal role in a large manufacturing subsidiary. The remit is site based and the core focus is business partnering to the senior leadership team and site GM – providing a strong bridge between finance and operational areas of the group.

You’ll be involved in attractive and interesting value added activities – drilling into the P&L to help the operational team make crucial decisions which ultimately impact cost management, profit enhancement, margin retention, yield maximisation and waste reduction.

• You’ll be a qualified finance professional with ambition and drive. Someone who loves the cut and thrust of a manufacturing / production environment. It’s a professional and highly aspirational market leader (FTSE 250 Group) and the scope for development is exceptional.
• You’ll be working with talented and welcoming peers both in finance and ops teams – there’s a genuine culture of continuous improvement and a clear appetite to drive success and positive change.
• You’ll be someone coming from a management accounting background and have probably completed CIMA.
• You have awesome communication skills and build relationships with non finance colleagues / stakeholders with ease. You’ll be someone looking for a business that will appreciate and utilize your abilities by giving you the freedom and autonomy to get out and about in the facility.

Required:

• CIMA or equivalent.
• Experience as senior finance business partner / FC or operational FM in a manufacturing setting.
• Bags of enthusiasm and natural proactivity.
• Appetite to drive change and influence decision making.
• A natural business partner.
