The Weidenfeld–Hoffmann Trust (WHT) is home to a Scholarships and Leadership Programme at the University of Oxford. Each year WHT awards approximately 30–35 fully funded scholarships to graduates and early career professionals exclusively from developing and emerging economies to pursue a one–year master's level courses.
The scholarships are among the most prestigious at the University and make up the largest philanthropic scholarship supported by the University.
Over 15 years, the Weidenfeld–Hoffmann Trust has developed from a fledgling project into a highly respected Scholarships and Leadership programme at the University of Oxford. Building on our strong foundations and networks and leveraging our ambitious and innovative approach, we are looking to grow our impact and our reach.
As the founding CEO moves to focus on strategic income generation and governance, we are seeking a part–time Executive Director to lead the growth of the programme and continue its enviable success, building on our existing legacy.
We have opportunities to develop and scale the content and reach of the programme, to enhance our profile and to continue our mission to support future global leaders. The Executive Director will lead this development, manage our team, oversee our partnerships and build relationships with our key stakeholders.
We are looking for a creative and collaborative leader who brings:
- Experience of building credible relationships with a range of senior stakeholders
- Experience of acting as an ambassador and of raising profile and influence
- A track record of programme management, with experience of successfully translating innovative ideas into practice
This role is a unique opportunity to nurture future leaders and make world class education accessible to those who would benefit the most.
WHT is committed to achieving greater diversity in its team, and welcomes applications regardless of sex, gender, race, age, sexuality, belief or disability
To arrange a discussion about the opportunity, please contact our retained advisors Anna Gardet or Amelia Gungah by email at or with a copy of your CV.
