CFO for a Retail Distribution Business

Location: Birmingham

Salary: GBP120,000 – GBP140,000 + bonus + exit bonus

Finatal is currently leading the search for a Private Equity backed retail distribution business which is looking for a hands–on CFO on a permanent basis.

The business is currently doing c.GBP100m turnover and c.GBP10m EBITDA and is aiming to grow organically, by expanding into new product and service lines, whilst improving the EBITDA margin

The CFO will take charge of:

• Building and strengthening the finance function
• Navigating the carve out
• Improving the level of reporting, controllership and data
• Improving processes and systems
• Providing high quality MI for the senior leadership team and Private Equity Fund
• Site rationalisation
• Cost control
• Expanding the businesses B2C offering
• Driving the growth of the business
• Preparing the business for its eventual exit

Applicants must have worked in a business with over GBP60m revenue and must have worked in at least one private equity backed business and have led on or supported on a successful exit.

Experience working in a Carve out business beforehand and experience with TSAs, as well as experience working in a retail/multisite business is also beneficial.
