Panoramic Associates are currently looking for an experienced Project Surveyor who can undertake a broad range of functions required for the successful delivery of construction–based projects from inception to completion. The projects will include alteration, refurbishment and new build construction across a range of commercial, corporate and residential stock.

Some of the main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare feasibility design and costings (with QS support)
• Survey sites/properties and prepare accurate detail/working drawings.
• Prepare full design drawings and specifications for all types of alteration, refurbishment and new build construction including obtaining Planning Permission and Building Regulation Approval.
• Prepare tender documentation and specifications for works to both commercial and domestic properties.
• Organise contractors' work and liaise with owners/tenants and other statutory authorities.
• Provide technical support to other officers within the Property and Development team.
• Investigate defects in properties, identify probable causes and prepare reports for consideration of funding. Prepare repair specifications involving traditional and innovative solutions.

In order to be successful in this role, you will need:

• A HNC/HND B Tech Building Construction (consideration would be given to equivalent practical experience, e.g. over 5 years).
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Experience preparing design drawings and specifications for a wide variety of works
• Experience developing building refurbishment schemes in commercial and domestic buildings
• Experience of new build housing and commercial developments
• Experience managing building contracts
• Experience liaising with general public/statutory authorities
