A market leader from the public sector is looking for an Interim Procurement Officer to assist in day to day duties in the buying department. The role: Utilising specialist pronouncement skills to provide robust solutions you will have good knowledge of UK and EU legislation in order to delver support and advise to the Senior Procurement Officer. You will also help manage complex processes and guide the Procurement assistants in delivery of low risk, low value contracts. You will ensure full compliance of all polices and procedures whilst delivering outstanding service to all relevant stakeholders. Being an interim role you will be able to learn quickly and hit the ground running from day 1. Requirements: Have good procurement experience; preferably in the public sector Have a positive mindset Be a good communicator Strong grasp of MS office packages Randstad Business Support acts as an employment business when supplying temporary staff and as an employment agency when introducing candidates for permanent employment with a client.
