A Senior Accountant role for a large and very well know distribution business in Coventry
Your new company
We are delighted to be supporting a global business with a household name in the recruitment of a Senior Accountant to be based at the UK Head Office in Coventry. The organisation are on a journey to transform their centralised finance offering and this role will play a key part in this.
Your new role
As the Senior Accountant you will enable the European finance function to achieve and maintain a robust financial controls environment, ensuring compliance with US GAAP. You will provide support on complex accounting matters, and you will manage the controls process along with providing project support to the finance transformation team. You will perform balance sheet reviews to monitor and support all accounting activity.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified and technically competent accountant (ACA / ACCA) with strong IFRS and US GAAP knowledge. Good communication and presentation skills will be required along with the ability to influence at all levels.
