Your new company
Your new company is a leading Commercial Property business, with well over £10bn worth of property in their Portfolio. As such, there is a wide variety of different projects and internal changes happening at any one time, and this role is a key part of one of their projects - to bring their Finance function in line with best practice standards across Risk & Controls.
Your new role
In your new role, you will report to the Strategic Finance Manager for the business - initially looking into the Internal Controls piece, by and large - Sox implementations. Whilst the company are not needing to be Sox compliant - they are aware that due to their size, they are going to be under scrutiny in line with recent government reforms and so want to be as far advanced in the ICOFR area as possible.
The role will then shift into more of the Risk elements, working with the finance team, and other departments on the wider Risk Frameworks which are already mature within the business to ensure they are fit for purpose, changing as necessary - and maybe even going through a complete rehaul of them where needed.

What you'll need to succeed
- Ideally Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA etc.)
- Experience with Enterprise Risk Management, and Risk Frameworks specifically
- ICOFR experience, and working knowledge of Sox
