Business Development Manager Pasquill South East of England This is an exciting opportunity for a talented, customer focused commercial minded and driven Business Development Manager to join our business. You will be focusing on our Pasquill brand and be responsible for developing the existing customer base, identifying new customers and delivering profitable sales through innovation and first class service to a defined customer base. This is a varied and career defining role as a Business Development Manager covering the South East of England area for Pasquill. The Business Development Manager will be working closely with Design Office Managers, other Brand Sales Managers and Sales Directors within the Saint Gobain Group and Regulatory Bodies. Pasquill work closely with customers and industry specialists such as the Centre for Timber Engineering at Napier University to help solve today's construction problems using our expertise in design and off–site manufacture. And we are investing, in new plants, new partnerships and innovative technology. The construction industry is not standing still and neither are we You will join an experienced, technical minded and solution focused team who enjoy the challenge of being the leading Timber Engineering Specialist in the UK, working in a vibrant, fast paced environment where you can demonstrate your flair for Business Development, Account Management, Networking and communicating / influencing at a Senior level with internal and external partners/customers. The Business Development Manager will aim to drive the business in the South East of England area forward to maximise sales growth, achieve sales and margin targets, customer base growth and customer spend targets through your innovative and commercial savvy approach. What will I be doing in the role? Develop and grow customer base with a number of targeted calls each week. Identify opportunities to maximise customer service and translate into profitable sales Work closely with other functions (i.e. Design & Operations) to ensure a seamless service to our customer Carry out sales and margin analysis for area with key actions identified and agreed with Design Office Manager/ Customer Experience Manager / Regional Manager Prepare weekly / monthly reports of activity with key actions identified and agreed with Customer Experience Manager / Regional Manager Develop relationships with customers to maximise all sales opportunities and identify trends Producing quotations, delivering proposals for timber structural / engineering designs, solutions and sales Although we do require someone with exposure to working in a similar Business Development Management role within a manufacturing / Distribution environment, we are open to reviewing applications from candidates across different sectors as we feel a positive, resilient, attitude, with the ability to develop long term internal and external relationships combined with a commitment to your learning and development are most important.
