Do you have previous business analysis experience using both Agile and waterfall methodologies? Do you have a keen interest in technology areas (including Content Management Systems, DevOps, APIs and Cloud Services)? And a strong desire to learn? About the role We're looking for a Business Analyst to lead, coordinate, and deliver analysis activities across a variety of business transformation programmes, projects, and digital technology products. Establishing close relationships with internal and external stakeholders, you'll focus on the customer experience through gathering, articulating, and prioritising requirements for business improvement initiatives and play a key role in bridging the gap between the needs of the organisational and technology solutions. The role will be split across both our Systems Scrum and Project teams, and you'll play a key role in shaping the success of technology initiatives through implementing analysis tools and techniques to enhance process, user experience and implementation alignment through to solution outcome. Through effective data and information gathering, as well as effective facilitation, you will identify business challenges and work with technical teams to create effective solutions, considering process alignment and documentation throughout. Working arrangements This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office. The use of our office spaces is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do. This may vary from time to time, so you must be prepared to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause. Most of our colleagues on blended contracts can expect to spend some time in their office each week, on average. Excited by the role, but not sure you tick every box? You may need a little more help balancing your work and home life, so please feel free to explore the flexibility you may need with us at the application or interview stage. About you With previous knowledge of working as a Business Analyst within waterfall and Agile methodologies, you'll have knowledge of lean methodologies and principles, as well as experience of how a technology function works. To be successful in this role you'll have the following experience and attributes: Previous experience working on technology implementation projects and/or products (across both Agile and waterfall methodologies) Strong team working skills, able to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with a variety of personalities and situations across multi–disciplinary teams Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal, able to effectively adapt style, where appropriate to the audience, at all levels of the organisation Excellent organisational skills, able to manage multiple projects, priorities, and different ranges of work Able to take ownership of challenges, taking the initiative and making decisions with a can–do attitude to delivering on expectations A positive and enthusiastic attitude with the tenacity to assist team solutions successfully through to implementation We're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Business Analyst who can make an active contribution to developing the Business Analysis service within BHF.
