The appointee will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the company’s accounting function
- Managing cash flow
- Analyzing and reporting on financial performance
- Creating and enhancing systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculations
- Supervising and managing finance department staff
- Establishing and implementing financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation
- Ensuring absolute compliance with any external reporting deadlines
- Ensuring that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed and reported
- Collaborating with auditors to ensure proper compliance with all regulations
- Developing budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data reports
- Reviewing all financial plans regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities
- Reporting to the Directors with timely and accurate financial information
