One of the most renowned investment names in the UK is currently hiring for an Associate Director to join their Group Reporting function as a result of a huge finance transformation project – they're looking for ambitious, dynamic and driven individuals with a talent for improvements and efficiency's to join them on this exciting project and sustained period of growth.
The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Understand the current BAU finance processes, including the monthly close process, group allocations and intercompany, financial statement preparation and local financial regulatory reporting to enable the design and implementation of the new ERP
- Attend workshops to document project requirements and be intimately involved in authoring many of the system design and implementation requirements for the new ERP, as an output of deep collaboration and partnership with the Group Finance team, understanding their process and control needs, and translating those into ERP design, configuration and implementation requirements, covering areas such as Chart of Accounts, Accounts payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, Procurement, as well as system testing, data migration, mappings, etc.
Once this project is in place, your BAU role will be to lead on your given area of expertise from a reporting perspective, this will include building and leading your own team of 2 – 3 qualified heads.
Experience required:
- Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA professional with at least 5 years PQE
- proactive and "lead form the front" approach to work
- Strong IFRS understanding and UK GAAP
- Experience in a larger firm with complex reporting lines would be advantageous
