Are you creative thinking Senior HR Generalist who is available to start a contract late October/ early November?
Handle are excited to be working with this iconic publishing organisation based in central London, looking to hire a Head of People to cover a maternity leave.

The Head of People will work as a strategic partner to the commercial business functions, line managing a People Advisor and leveraging the support of the wider team. You will be a true business partner with a high level of visibility in the team and a seat at the table. As well as being a strong senior level generalist used to a varied remit, you'll also thrive in a very front facing role where you are really under the skin of the business and part of the day to day running of things. You will be responsible for driving forward innovative people strategy to help them achieve their ambitious business plans, as well as being part of wider group strategy.

- Love working at pace, balancing operational demands with strategic and longer–term priorities
- Exceptional communication and relationship building skills – demonstrable experience of partnering senior business and creative leaders
- Curious and always seeking out new experiences, knowledge and feedback
- A commercial and a credible influencer – someone who is not afraid to challenge
- Comfortable with data and translating that into real meaning for the business
- Ability to coach and line manage a small team
Ideal candidates will be able to start the role end October/ early November at latest (if not before!) The business has a hybrid working model, 2 days min based out of their fabulous central London offices.
