In an emerging sector for investment, ABPM Recruitment is supporting a VC as it invests in a proven and profitable business, to recruit a CFO to complement the CEO and his leadership team.

Readily recognised in its business sector by reputation and status, achieved through innovation and delivery which positions itself ideally to be the platform to become a consolidator of a fragmented market.

On the cusp of the next phase of growth and investment, they wish to appoint a business leader who is a qualified accountant to support the CEO. Reporting to the CEO, Board and shareholders, you will be primarily responsible for the mergers & acquisitions activity. It is expected you will develop, the established finance team and management infrastructure, business systems and the associated teams within the organisation. The plan is to accelerate its existing growth plans with acquisitions for integration whilst enhancing profitability. You will have a broad remit and be an active participant of an enthusiastic and energetic leadership team.

If you have experience of successfully scaling businesses through M&A, leading fundraising activities, as well as thrive on managing internal and external stakeholders, coordinating diverse functions, and want the opportunity to lead both strategically and operationally to ensure the long–term success of an exciting organisation, this could be a relevant option to consider. Applicants, above and beyond being a proven CFO/FD, need to possess a background in M&A within a VC backed business drawn ideally from the services sector.
