The role would suit sales professionals who have experience of devising and implementing a sales strategy from scratch. You will have a proven track record of driving sales and delivering company growth. Applicants will ideally transfer from a manufacturing background. Candidates who have experience within the water utilities industry will have a considerable advantage, this is not essential. Sales Managers with a CIM qualification will have a considerable advantage. The key functions of this role as National Sales Manager will be to develop and take ownership of sales strategies for developing new business/expand customer base initially within the UK. You will initially be new business orientated but you will build account management plans and customer relationship mapping in time. You will monitor current and predict upcoming market trends and competitor activity within this region. You will work closely with product management, regional sales and marketing teams to achieve revenue targets. There is potential for you to form a team beneath you to strategize for economic growth and in time expand on an international basis.
