Finance Director

Simpson Judge Ltd are supporting a rapid growth, privately owned B2B manufacturing business in the renewables industry in London. The business operate internationally and want to hire their first FD to lead business finance strategy.Duties: Work closely with the CEO to find and capitalise on opportunities for growth. Delivery of the company's business objectives by developing & implementing the financial strategy. Develop, implement, and maintain all necessary systems, policies, and procedures to ensure effective and efficient financial management within the company. Develop and control the company's annual operating budget to ensure that all financial targets are met, and key objectives are communicated to the leadership team. Provide financial advice and guidance to the company's managers and staff to enable them to achieve their objectives. Oversee the preparation of the company's financial accounts to ensure that these are presented accurately and on time. Develop and implement an internal audit programme to ensure that the company complies with financial procedures and regulations. Monitor external contracts and services provided by suppliers to ensure that these are operating effectively and provide the best possible value to the company.Requires:ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, 10+ years PQE5 years + experience as a FD/number one in financeIndustry experience in manufacturing B2B modelsSME/scale–up experience, not a suitable role for candidates without this background
