Ashley Kate are delighted to be working with a leading organisation who are looking to bring in an experienced HR Project Manager to join their UK HR team on a permanent basis. The role could be based at any of the three key UK sites (Stevenage, Bolton or Bristol) and will include a blended approach to on–site and remote working. Salary is up to GBP65k What is the role? The role will work as part of the existing HR team providing a lead role on project managing the development and implementation of the UK HR People Plan into the business. Reporting into the UK HRD, the role will be primarily focused on end to end project management, including adherence to plans, timelines and cost management. We are looking for a self–starter who can influence and build relationships at all levels of the organisation. The role will blend both knowledge of HR process and best practice with a clear understanding of the project management discipline to support the delivery of an ambitious HR transformation plan. Projects will include a range of HR initiatives such as Diversity, Reward & Recognition, Engagement, Talent, Succession Planning, Development, Wellbeing and Policy Development. Although this is a UK–based role, it is expected that the role will have an international interface, and will be expected to partner with international HR colleagues on various change initiatives. Role responsibilities will include: Project management on HR strategic priorities, one–off projects, and continual improvements; building plans with clear milestones and deliverables. Ensuring projects are scoped and proposed correctly. Establishing people projects for success, tracking timelines, dependencies, issues and risks to deliver on time, ensuring business goals are identified and agreed upon for the project and KPI's Working alongside key stakeholders across all areas of the business to ensure seamless implementation of projects Support with data analytics. To include the creation and maintenance of dashboards and metrics to allow ongoing monitoring and communication on the progress of strategic priorities. Support with the structure of future workforce planning for the business Drive cross–team collaboration in a structured and efficient way, seeking to accelerate progress toward goals, while removing barriers and roadblocks along the way. Manage project contributors across all areas of the business to ensure an adequate understanding of ownership, timelines, resource needs, risks, contentions, and dependencies Partner within the broader HR team to develop change management strategies that will drive adoption and enablement for impacted audiences i.e. managers and employees. What we are looking for To be successful in this role, demonstrative evidence of successes in leading & implementing HR projects is essential. We are looking for a structured and self–motivated individual who is able to demonstrate personal accountability and follow through. Attention to detail is a must–have, along with high levels of accuracy in handling HR information. Other qualities we're looking for include: A strong HR background with experience of managing people projects / HR initiatives. Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and influencing skills. Strong and up–to–date employment law knowledge Experience of communicating project plans around change initiatives Proven ability to work in collaboration with stakeholders at all levels throughout the business, and demonstrable experience of driving change Ideally CIPD qualified A strong analytical / problem solving mind–set, with the ability and willingness to get into the detail to find solutions A self–motivated team player who is able to work effectively with general guidance towards objectives Strong presentation and influencing skills
