Interim Finance Director - Transformation

Meraki Talent are retained to appoint a Finance Director based in the East of Scotland paying GBP90,000 – GBP110,000 base salary + bonus on a 12 month contract basis.

This highly performing business has an excellent hold on the UK market, and has gradually been increasing it's global reach. It's product and services are truly marketing leading but it continues to invest heavily in the evolution and diversification of these products & services to ensure it remains the tip of the sword.

The Opportunity

The business is about to embark on an extremely high–profile and exciting transformation project as a result of a hugely positive restructure which has created the requirement for a Finance Director.

The transformation key components will include:

• Working with Executive Leadership and external Consultants to plan, implement and execute the transformation project
• Business partnering with senior internal and external stakeholders to understand the businesses strategic objectives, direction and goals to ensure finance & operations are fit for purpose
• Reviewing and developing the below functions:

o Financial accounting, taxation, treasury & compliance

o Commercial finance and FP&A

o Transactional & operational finance

o Systems, both financial and operational

o Corporate services – HR, legal, IT etc.

Candidate Profile

To be considered for this role, you must be a qualified Accountant that has strong post qualification experience and a proven track record of operating within financial leadership opportunities. It's essential the individual has a strong blend of both financial accounting and management accounting experience. Preference will definitely be given to individuals that can demonstrate transformation projects exposure, especially if from industrial sectors such as manufacturing, engineering, food & drink, FMCG, oil & gas etc.

On Offer

The position of Finance Director is based in the East of Scotland with hybrid working. The ideal is 3 days in the office, however they will consider applications for 2 days per week in the office and 3 days from home. The role will offer:

• GBP90,000 – GBP110,000 base salary
• Bonus
• Flexible & hybrid working
