Our client is looking for a Head of Service level accountant with extensive experience of Adult Social Care finance. The current post holder is on long term leave and you will need to fully cover the role supporting and advising the Adult Social Care Director and leading on all aspects of financial management for the directorate. This includes budget setting, monitoring and closure of the statutory accounts. Further, it is a time of significant change and you will need to be working with the director and senior officers in the directorate to implement the adult social care reforms including the GBP86,000 care cap.
