Finance Business Partner

RM Recruit are working with a Birmingham based Public Sector organisation to recruit an Interim Finance Business Partner for their established team. Following a successful systems implementation, our client is seeking support to develop new business partnering methods that align to the commercial and strategic aims of this government body. Working with the Finance Director and Head of Finance, you will help imbed the new system to develop BAU Finance Business Partnering services whilst delivering day to day financial advice across the organisation. Your remit will include, but not be limited to: Deliver finance business partnering and reporting services for a programme and projects Provide financial oversight and support on projects aimed at delivering a better and more efficient finance business partnering service Accountable to the Head of Finance for the quality of accounting information and reporting services provided Continually improve the financial performance of services across the organisation via direct liaison with senior directors and stakeholders Offer financial advice on the wider factors and long–term implications of operational and strategic decisions Bring a fresh perspective, appreciating the many different angles and other views to consider in arriving at a quality outcomes The successful candidates will be a CCAB Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACCA/CIPFA) with extensive experience of the delivery of financial partnering for senior level stakeholders. This post will have a duration of 6 months and will require 2 days per week working in Birmingham. Both In Scope and Out of Scope against IR35 working arrangements can be considered
