Head of Insurance Operations

A Leading Automotive Services Client based in Bristol have an exciting and rare opportunity for a Head of Insurance Operations to join them for an initial 3 month contract. The ideal candidate will have proven operations management within a large insurer and will have personal lines insurance & strong understanding of GI regulatory principles. Location: Bristol / Home BlendDuration: 3 months+Start Date: ASAP but will wait for a notice period.Rate: Depending on experience (Inside IR35) Experience Required:

• Experience in a key leadership and operational role in a mass market personal lines insurance business
• Strong understanding of personal lines insurance operations
• Strong understanding of GI regulatory principles and FCA's Good Customer Outcomes framework
• Working knowledge of the financial models underpinning insurance companies and intermediaries within personal lines motor and home

Duties Include but not limited to:

• Lead and manage all insurance broker operations activities and associated KPI's, including across sales, service, complaints, claims, policy administration and IT
• Key product coverage across Telematics, van and home insurance as well as Travel, Day Insurance, PBMI and other smaller insurance categories via various brand licensing arrangements (with various operating models)
• Maintain effective governance, controls and oversight of all related third party outsourcing arrangements, ensuring all services are delivered in line with contractual, legal and regulatory obligations and continue to meet the ongoing needs of the business and its customers.
• Ensure development of operational best practise across our motor and non–motor insurance teams
