Interim Purchase and Supply Chain Manager My client is looking for an Interim Purchasing and Supply Chain Manager to support their buying team based in Sheffield. My client is a technology company purchasing electronic components, pumps and valves. Responsibilities Sourcing direct and indirect materials and equipment from suppliers Negotiating prices and terms of payment Placing orders Arranging shipping of materials and equipment and dealing with freight forwarders Receiving and checking supplier invoices Work with bill of materials based on engineering drawings. Maintain records Proactively control the progress orders. Proactively manage the supplier base.
