Regional Head of New Homes Delivery Housing Development From GBP69,768 – GBP77,520 per annum + excellent benefits Home Based but commutable to West & East Midlands Permanent, Full Time Do you have the drive to join our client s ambitious Development Team? They are looking for a Regional Head of New Homes Delivery to join their growing and successful New Homes Delivery Team. In this new role you will be leading and developing a New Homes Delivery Team to deliver the Group s annual programme of Regional new build completions on time, to the stated quality and within agreed budget, KPIs and business plan targets. Their Development team sits at the heart of their vision to make a difference by enabling better lives and building better homes. It s an exciting time to join their New Homes Delivery team They have ambitious plans to grow their portfolio by 1,600 homes a year over the next 5 years and implement a new approach to modern methods of construction that supports our approach to decarbonisation and future proofing their development pipeline. An experienced Head in a similar role, ideally in a Housing Association, you will be used to working collaboratively across functions to deliver the wider business strategy and objectives. You'll have the opportunity to have strategic input and shape the New Homes Delivery team whilst also playing a key role in delivering much needed homes to their customers. What could you be doing? You will be leading, developing, motivating and inspiring a high performing New Homes Delivery Team to deliver day to day management of development schemes from contract to start through to end of defects. You will encourage, investigate and embed the use of MMC and other innovative methods of new homes delivery in conjunction with the New Business team You will manage all contract procurement and management, ensuring it is in line with financial regulations and standing orders. You ll provide regular reports to the Director New Homes Delivery and the Director Development Programme to ensure programme delivery is in line with Homes England and corporate Group targets You will work collaboratively with the new business team on pre contract affordable housing projects, ensuring compliance with the development strategy and Homes England funding obligations. You ll be responsible for new homes completion targets ensuring Group KPI s and Homes England targets are met. You will brief and co–ordinate the work of external consultants, establish and maintain effective communications with the whole project team, throughout the construction phase and through the defects period Some things they need from you You will have a proven track record of delivering large scale multi tenure development sites Experience of work at Head of Level or similar Experience of Leading, developing, mentoring multi–functional teams across a wide geographical area You will have the ambition to succeed, and will embrace change and take the team on the journey You ll not only be able to work at pace, you will thrive doing so!
