Head of Quality

As Head of Quality you will be ensuring the principles of Quality, (ISO, GDP, TAPA) are consistently evident within Airfreight structure, (people, processes, equipment) across the UK and Ireland cluster. Maintain a resilient and compliant airfreight operation and consequently maintain the quality and the integrity of cargo according to customer and regulatory requirements. Drive continuous Improvement initiatives in alignment with the clients quality vision and mission. Full time / permanent position Reporting into the Airfreight Director UK/IE

Duties Include:

Maintain, monitor and continuously drive improvement in our Quality Management Systems, (ISO, Cargo IQ, GDP) at Cluster through to Branch Level

Qualified to conduct internal and external Supply Chain audits

Operational Excellence / Quality Assurance advisor (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Lean Six Sigma)

Able to supervise and support a team of logistics specialists in the fields of Quality, Security, Safety Health, Environment, Dangerous Goods, Continuous Improvement, Facility Support, Business Intelligence and IT / Logistics Engineering with a strong focus on Airfreight, Airline & Trucking Logistics and Healthcare Quality and Compliance Minimum 10 years' experience in Quality Management with the Airfreight, Logistics and Healthcare Industry

5–10 years management experience

Salary Range GBP65K+ 20% bonus Pension up to 6% Grade 2 car or GBP7,500 /GBP625 PCM Private Healthcare Partner cover(GBP1,291.80pa) Life Insurance x 5 25 days holiday
