My client are a leading business services and consulting firm, they offer a range of services to clients in the UK and beyond. They continue their growth both organically and by acquisition.
To support this growth they currently seek an experienced FP&A Analyst to join the team to continue to develop business planning and improve analysis and Management Information.
You will play a major role in the Budget and Forecast process for the firm as well as play a crucial role in the production and understanding of management information, offering insight to help the firm meet its goals.
Responsibilities will include:
- Play a major role with the planning model built using bottom up capacity driven modelling at a person level as well as top down sales–based forecasting.
- Responsibility for helping to maintain the monthly rolling forecast model
- Play a major role with cashflow forecasting and analysis
- Ensure accuracy of MI production and analysis of key trends to flag risk and opportunity
- Provide analysis of performance data across the partner group and at firm level
- Cost analysis to optimise profitability and deliver budget margins
Successful candidates will be professionally qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) with a good understanding of all primary financial statements. Key areas of experience will include:
- Ability to manipulate and analyse large volumes of data with excellent modelling and analytical skills
- SQL database knowledge preferred
- Use of Planning Analytics / Tableau an advantage
- Attention to detail with a methodical approach
- Exceptional proven financial modelling and analytical skills
- Demonstrable commercial finance skills, ideally with experience working in an FP&A function
The role is initially available for circa 3 months, there is a temp to perm possibility for the right candidate. The business would like to appoint the right incumbent as soon as possible so candidates will need to be immediately available. There is the option of a pro–rata salary or an equivalent daily rate.
