Software Engineer, Software Developer – Front End UI Web Developer – AEM
Contract – Until Dec 22 9 will then renew for 12 months)
Rate GBP500 per Day – Inside IR35
Location: Hybrid working – Essex based Offices
One of the world's leading engineering and manufacturing organisations and a household name is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, ecommerce, Senior Front End UI Web Developer with at least 5 years hands on experience working in a Web UI environment in conjunction with an Adobe Experience Management AEM Back–end integration.
The candidate will join an EU team responsible for the development of Digital Marketing solutions including customer–facing e–commerce websites and applications across multiple channels (Home, Dealer, Mobile, etc.). These applications include the European national web portals; product–launch microsites and online tools.
The team develops new functionality, enhances existing functionality and supports market rollout activities on European customer–facing national web portals including build out of the company's Global e–Commerce offerings online.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
> Provide technical guidance and leadership to other developers
> Recommend best in class approaches to implement industry best in class solutions for B2C Consumer Facing Websites.
> Work in a fast–paced scaled AGILE environment with a team of Project Managers, Business Analysts, Java/AEM and UI Developers, QA Testers, in–house business customers and 3rd party design agencies.
Essential Skills & Experience:
> JavaScript (or Typescript) – React – Redux – REST APIs – Jest, Testing Library – TDD – Git – Minimum shell skills (Bash or Z Shell) – Mobbing / pair programming – Best coding practices – Adobe Experience Manager – IntelliJ IDEA or WebStorm
> Working experience on implementing Templates, Components, Dialogs and Workflows on AEM platform
> Experience working and alongside Backend AEM developers, to deliver highly performant and responsive web pages that cater for a multitude of different device platforms. Additionally, the candidate must have a very solid grasp for the importance of secure coding practices underpinning e–commerce component build practices to ensure zero opportunities for UI component exploitation when their codes is running in a production B2C Web / e–commerce environment.
> Prior exposure and understanding of Performance and Analytics solutions including Dynatrace metrics and Webpage analytics and metrics tagging e.g. Omniture, Google Analytics, Adobe Target & Launch, whilst working within an Agile delivery environment.
