Finance Lead IT Business Partner

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the delivery and development of the finance function within IT. We are looking for a committed finance professional to join us in IT to enhance the existing IT finance function. Driving up the quality of finance reports, build out our costing knowledge and add valuable insights into our day to day operations. Working as part of an evolving business with both on and off shore teams to deliver a quality service to colleagues, pushing finance knowledge and skills down through management layers in IT to improve financial capability and accountability.

Your responsibilities will include

• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, completing monthly reporting to include variance analysis post engagement with key stakeholders to allow insight to feed into decision making
• Design and deliver analysis of IT spend for example benchmarking, full economic cost of applications, procurement category spend analysis, business case support. Building the knowledge of this out in the wider team to improve capability

• Management and oversight of the purchase order process, invoicing and associated queries. Empowering the offshore team with the skills and knowledge to take these forward independently
• Plan and develop reporting and processes to improve staff awareness at all levels of finance and embed sound financial acumen in colleagues so they take greater budget responsibility for their own teams
• Support the IT Commercial team in supplier cost analysis, identifying opportunities for

We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:

• Previous work experience in IT Finance, business partnering with IT stakeholders, communicating with offshore teams.
• Strong knowledge in budgeting, forecasting and reporting through an annual cycle is essential
• Qualifications in CCAB or equivalent qualification
