The role

The firm is seeking to hire a Construction Lawyer into their thriving and growing, Edinburgh office.

The construction team has advised on some of the UK's most significant construction projects over the years, including infrastructure projects, commercial/residential schemes, town centre redevelopments, urban regeneration schemes and portfolio acquisition/disposal projects.

The team has expertise in dealing with;
  • Building agreements - the team acts for a broad range of clients across the industry, including major developers, financial institutions, employers and contractors
  • Dispute resolution and avoidance
  • Construction and Infrastructure - wide experience in: energy, transport (including roads, rail and ports), regeneration, hotels & leisure, water & utilities and waste management
  • Engineering, process & power - They act on a wide variety of engineering, process & power projects, in both non-contentious and contentious matters, including in relation to pharmaceuticals, power plants and the food sector

Requirements
  • You will be a Construction Lawyer NQ-3 years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of experience, and applications are invited from even the most experienced of candidates)
  • You will have a broad range of construction property experience
  • Be a team player and be able to forge strong working relationships
  • Strong communication skills
