Role: Graduate Electrical Control Systems engineer Location: Staffordshire Salary: GBP25,000 – GBP28,000 MUST be a British citizen Home working VS office based: hybrid schedule, 3 days at the office and 2 days working from home. The hours are as follows: Mon–Thursday: 8am to 4:30pm Friday: 8am to 12:30pm We are experts in delivering automation systems in the UK. We offer Electrical and Control Design services to clients that are highly regulated and where the need for quality and a high attention to detail is paramount. As a Graduate you will be working as part of the Project Delivery Team. The Project Delivery Team is a critical function within our business, and you will have the opportunity to learn and understand the technical design, development, and implementation of Electrical/Control Systems for several different industries. If you have a keen interest in engineering design of Electrical or Control Systems, this is the opportunity for you. Roles and Responsibilities As a Graduate you will have varying roles and responsibilities and they will include but will not be limited to the following: You will work alongside Project Leaders, Design Leads, and technical experts to understand the design development process, from outline design through construction and handover to the client. You will support requirements capture, concept development, design realisation and validation Using programmes such as computer–aided design, you will assist the design team in delivering fully detailed designs for manufacture Contribute to new system development and existing products upgrade Support in testing and verification of systems Prototyping of new equipment Write technical reports and perform calculations with the support of experienced Engineers Requirements for the Role Have, or predicted to have, a minimum of a 2:1 Degree in an Controls, Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics or General (providing it has an EC&I focus) Discipline Due to the nature of the work the position is only available to British citizens.
