Our client, a Cambridge College, are looking for an exceptional individual to be their next Development Director following the retirement of the current post–holder.

Salary: GBP75,000 – GBP85,000 with flexibility for an outstanding candidate

This is an exciting opportunity to join the College to lead one of the most successful Oxbridge development programmes. The next Development Director will be responsible for continuing to build and grow key relationships between the College and potential benefactors in support of a range of development goals including their financial sustainability.

Working closely with the Master and supported by a highly engaged Fellowship and a team of development professionals, you will be responsible for developing and implementing an ambitious and innovative fundraising strategy and comprehensive alumni relations programme.

You will be an experienced and innovative fundraiser with a proven record of raising significant gifts. You will have the desire and drive to identify, cultivate and personally solicit potential benefactors for major gifts from a global alumni and supporter population. Strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and the presence and intellect to operate at the highest levels, are all prerequisites.
