Interim Engineering Director Jackson Hogg is delighted to be supporting a globally listed organisation to appoint an experienced Engineering Director on an interim basis to help support through a sustained busy period. This client operates in primarily in the aerospace markets and are looking for an experienced interim to help with leadership, projects and all technical aspects across multiple locations. This is an excellent short–term opportunity for an experienced Engineering Programme Director to come into a Globally established company and support Programme delivery, working closely with multi–disciplined teams across multiple sites and customers. We are looking to speak to candidates who have experience delivering projects within the Aerospace sector ideally based in the Midlands area who are happy to commute to multiple locations. The Role To ensure that our engineering and safety systems are used to improve the safety and wellbeing of our employees Lead the engineering team to continuously improve plant reliability whilst working within the agreed engineering budget Create, with support from the site leadership team, an improvement plan to help delivery of site financial budget aligned with the delivery of KPI's Work in partnership with the other key site functions, in particular Operations and CI to deliver the site objectives Implement and embed engineering Best Practice as described in ME engineering manual Providing/support/maintain all legislative and compliance activity as required Demonstrate and role model winning behaviors to support site culture Support, motivate, develop and coach the team in order to recognise and reward performance and drive robust succession planning If you would like more information or a confidential call please apply today
