You’ll be providing Tax Advisory services to start-ups and scale-ups, to private businesses and FTSE listed multinationals. You’ll be someone who can work pro-actively, managing your own tasks, but you’ll also be confident collaborating with others, communicating regularly with senior managers, Directors, and BDO’s Partners to enable us to serve our clients effectively. You’ll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to our clients. We are looking for someone with;

• The ability to pro-actively manage a team handling large scale compliance projects.
• Significant and previous experience within corporate tax compliance and tax reporting
• In-depth, and up to date, tax technical knowledge and the ability to identify and deal with complex tax issues
• Ability to manage large scale projects and competing deadlines on-time and with high-quality deliverables
• Ability to ensure projects are undertaken efficiently but whilst managing risk appropriately
• Experience of, and the enthusiasm and drive to manage, coach and develop junior team members
• Ability to undertake tax reporting for clients under FRS102, FRS101 and IFRS
• Good communication skills to build strong relationships with senior management at clients and also develop a strong internal and external network
• Ability to help develop the business both by identifying and winning new clients, but also spotting opportunities for selling new services to existing clients
• ACA or CTA qualified
• Alphatax knowledge helpful but not essential
