Associate Director Sustainability City of London Up to GBP85k + Bonus + Company Benefits A large multidisciplinary consultancy with a global presence is looking to recruit an Associate Director of Sustainability to join their award winning London Design Office. The business predominately work on large commercial build and mixed use developments. The business has a dedicated sustainability team that works across their groups design teams. You will be second in command and responsible for the day to day running of the team and it's productivity, it's growth and further developing of it's client base. You're experience over the years within BREEAM and more recently WELL, NET Zero and Whole life cycle will be very suitable to this role. Alternatively if you have come from a building physicist or thermal modelling background this will also be of interest to our client. This a rare opportunity to join an award winning business at a strategic level and have a real influence in a leadership role. You will ideally have 8 to 10+ years experience within Sustainability sectors and have the ability to run teams, deliver projects and handle the commercial aspects of projects whilst ensuring client satisfaction. Solid communication skills are essential for this role, both internal communication and external. At present the business is operating a flexible work routine which is currently 3 days office and 2 days home. Role Purpose: Lead and Develop the sustainability offering in the UK and Europe. Co–ordination of environmental design with other building services disciplines and with external parties such as architect or client delivery teams. Participate in business related activities (non–Project) Participate in developing the Environmental offering by developing existing client contacts and broadening our client list and sector coverage. Co–ordinate with contractors and manufacturers both on a technical level. Participate in project activities including design, specification and documentation. Ensure our clients Quality System is implemented and maintained on projects. Take part in personal and professional development training as required.
