THE ROLE This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract role to cover maternity leave. Our client is looking for a Global Business Director to work within a bespoke unit setup to service their world–renowned pharmaceutical client. The unit is a data and technology driven communications proposition that is centred on client growth. You will be the senior point of contact for the team whilst commanding strong relationships with senior clients. You will work closely with specialist leads and creative agencies to develop cut through communications to deliver the annual client scope of work and thought leadership programme. Key Responsibilities include: Develop relationships with the client through a deep understanding of the brand and its bespoke needs, becoming a trusted adviser. Project lead key strategic work steams, including but not limited to, annual brand planning and portfolio approach development. Be the business lead for specialist work streams within areas of data automation and dashboarding. Lead the conversation upstream to develop new mutually advantageous approaches to build the client s business and lead the client in new ways of using media. Lead, manage and galvanise a united global client team. Drive growth and identify business opportunities through an ingrained understanding of the client. Deliver the company integrated strategy, embrace and implement the company vision of growing the client s business through the interaction of creativity, technology and data. THE PERSON This role requires strong business leadership and account handling. You must have a strong understanding of media strategy based on the team deliverables. Your input and contributions with a strategic understanding will play a vital role. You must be confident and diplomatic with an assertive and authoritative nature to drive positive results internally, with colleagues, and externally, with the client and agency partners. Essential requirements include: Minimum 8 years experience within local or global agency account roles. Previous experience managing senior stakeholder relationships whilst building trust and credibility with key clients. Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders and internal leaders. Familiar with data and full funnel communications planning, particularly digital media channels. Emotional maturity, resilience and ability to inspire others. Have a strategic mind and pharmaceutical/healthcare sector knowledge Understand technical digital concepts with practical, technical knowledge as a leader. Have the ability to identify new areas for growth and delivering additional revenue. This is a hybrid role, where you ll be working in a fun, open and modern office space 2 days a week, or as required. The office has its own site canteen and is also close to lots of local eateries, businesses and shopping, offering discounts to employees. The role is paying up to GBP85k per annum for the right candidate for a 12 month FTC, providing maternity cover. Don t meet every single requirement?
