Based in state–of–the–art offices in Manchester City Centre they are recognised as being a leading employer with a culture that supports progression and development whilst also maintaining a good work life balance.The role will require the effective management of a small team, covering all aspects of financial reporting.Responsibilities: Budgeting & forecasting Deliver fully supported notes to the Year End accounts Balance sheet reconciliation, in line with standards IFRS16 Reporting and communication of balance sheet opportunities and risks Strong focus on customer service, internally and externally Ensure appropriate controls are implemented and process and procedures are compliant with legal and audit requirementsEssential Requirements: Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) – people looking to make there first move from practice into industry will be considered Sound demonstration of accounting knowledge People management & business partnering experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience of Process Improvement Strong attention to detail Advanced Excel capability In return there is a salary on offer of between GBP45,000 and GBP50,000 + bonus and an enhanced benefits packageThis role opportunity is available to both those already working within industry, and those looking for a first–time move out of practice.
