- Leading the quality department and managing a quality team of 60, including two quality managers.
- Creating and enacting a clear vision for the future of the department in line with the business needs.
- Being able to provide a vision for the company and the quality department.
- Changing and improving the structure within the department in order to develop a high performing team.
- Mentoring members within the team.
- Driving high performance culture throughout the department and business.
- Having commercial acumen and appreciating the impact of quality on business objectives and being able to manage the department accordingly.
- Strong knowledge of Aerospace Quality.
- Extensive experience working for an Aerospace organisation.
- Experience with supplier and product quality.
- Experience with quality systems.
- Previous experience leading transformation or turnaround projects within an organisation.
- Experience with greenfield sites.
