Interim Head of Space Management Higher Education London 3 6–month contract Flexible hybrid working pattern (3 days on–site per week) PAYE: Circa GBP400 Per Day + 12.07% Holiday About the client On behalf of a leading University, MRG Interim Executives are currently recruiting an Interim Head of Space Management to advise and lead on a number of space utilisation/management initiatives. Background As part an estate strategy, this University is modernising and aligning their service to improve the quality of its estate services to students. Working within a large campus, accountabilities will include: – Planning, developing and implementing space management strategies Development of procedures and systems to improve the overall effectiveness of university space Provision of consulting advice on space planning Strategic masterplanning activities Provide advice on the utilisation of space Workplace management Management of key relationships with stakeholders Carrying out space management presentation work to wide–ranging audiences Candidate Requirements Proven track record in a similar role Experience in delivering space management strategies Senior level stakeholder liaison experience with the ability to effectively build and manage relationships with key staff members Experience of workplace management Experience in space management planning and the optimisation of space for a large–scale and diverse property portfolio Willingness to travel to London minimum 3 days per week Able to start at short notice Some exposure gained ideally within a higher education setting (preferably) What to do now For a confidential discussion, please contact the retained recruitment advisor handling this assignment Edward Kaye of The Management Recruitment Group on (phone number removed).
