CFO

CFO Based in Hertfordshire our award–winning financial services client is looking for an interim CFO to join their team for approximately 6–month contract basis. This job would suit someone who is a qualified Financed Director or CFO to be responsible for assisting the CEO in the strategic and operational management of the organisation with key responsibility for all aspects of finance management and control, and treasury management and reporting. This company is an award–winning business that operates in Hertfordshire for over 50 years who continue to evolve and develop the business and people helping them to grow and realise their potential. The business currently has a turnover in excess of GBP250 million, with the finance team consisting of 7 members and this role working very closely with the CEO. The successful individual will be an experienced CFO or Finance Director and have experience operating within a retail banking or similar industry background. You will have the ability to demonstrate leadership through their actions, taking ownership and successfully delivering projects and initiatives. You should be available to start any time between now and November as finding the right skill and background is imperative for this client. Job Responsibilities: Oversight of the Finance function including managing the production and integrity of statutory and regulatory reporting. Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements for funding and solvency limits and reporting any potential breaches to the Board. Comply with the FCA's Statements of Principle and provide information to enable the organisation to make fit and proper tests on an ongoing basis. Cash flow management and oversight of all banking relationships and systems. Reporting of liquidity risk, margin risk, interest rate risk and basis risk. As an approved person and director, ensure that all activity and that of direct reports complies with the relevant sections of the relevant Acts, which apply to those areas of the business for which Finance Director has responsibility. Ownership of Financial Information, reporting to Board and Committees on financial performance and position, current and future. Comply with all the appropriate Senior Manager Regime Functions, Prescribed Responsibilities and Business Activities that fall within the Finance Director's Statement of Responsibilities.
