Electrical Associate Director Global Building Services Engineering Design Consultancy Up to GBP85,000 plus annual bonus and generous benefits package London re:Work are proud to have partnered with a multi–award–winning built environment design consultancy to support in their search for an Electrical Associate Director for the London office. As an experienced Electrical Associate Director you will have a Team Management and Project Leadership role in the design, development and coordination of building services engineering project services, while assisting other Directors with business strategy and management. Responsibilities Act as Electrical Associate Director and Team Manager, providing leadership and guidance to the electrical and multi–disciplinary engineering team. Conduct cost and profit analysis on projects including feasibility studies and preparation of fee proposals Work closely with clients and project team to establish project requirements and prepare schedules, plans and reports as required. Financial and commercial management of projects to ensure they return the target margin Leadership and hands–on monitoring of construction and installation on projects Represent the Company at technical meetings with customers, professional teams and contractors Carry out engineering calculations to ensure drawings meet required robust industry and legal standards Hands–on involvement in local office management in conjunction with other members of the senior management team Support clients in tender and procurement of MEP contractors and equipment. Lead on the coordination of engineering services, together with hands on delivery of concept and detailed designs Mentoring and development of younger members of the engineering team Support the delivery of projects in accordance with the Project Delivery Process from a Project Management, Financial Management, QA/QC and Technical Review perspective. Requirements BSc/BEng in appropriate Electrical or Building Services Engineering discipline Significant experience of specification design for a range of building types At least 10+ years experience as a consulting engineer Have a sound technical knowledge in chosen engineering discipline Experience in one or multiple of the following sectors: Commercial Office, High–End Residential, Mixed–Use Developments, Retail or Hotels.
