Interim Procurement Lead Your new companyThis a leading public sector organisation that are looking to make a senior appointment for an Interim Procurement Lead to manage and elevate the ICT category. Their are renowned business who are driven by social value within the public sector.Your new role

• Take direction from the Programme Director and to work within the Governance Structure put in place for the programme
• Develop a comprehensive Procurement strategy for the programme
• Produce all documentation needed to ensure that the agreed programme is delivered within the defined time and cost parameters
• Attend and provide appropriate papers from Programme Broad meetings and related programme team meetings
• Lead on Supplier negotiations as the procurement develops, ensuring that accurate and comprehensive documentation of all supplier contacts is maintained
• Understand and contribute to the Benefits Realisation strategy for the programme so that key characteristics of the solution are capable of transparent scrutiny during migration to and operation of the selected solution
• Be an integral part of the programme team and taking a lead role in advising on compliance with the PCR 2015 regulations

What you'll need to succeed

• Vast experience working within the public sector
• An impressive track record on leading ICT category
• Broad knowledge and understanding of public contract regulations 2015
• An accomplished negotiator
• CIPS level 5 or equivalent is preferred

What you'll get in return

• Day rate GBP480 (inside IR–35)
• Hybrid working policy
• 40 hour working contract
