Our Client, an SME Construction business in Northampton, requires an experienced and hands on Part Time Finance Director to support the senior management team with its exit strategy. The days will vary but it is likely to be at least 2-4 days per month.
This is an extremely hands-on role as there is a very small finance team and so requires an experienced and qualified Finance Director / CFO (ACCA, ACA, CIMA), who has a proven track record of preparing an SME business for sale and leading it through the sale.
You will have a collaborative approach to your work, be an excellent communicator, and be honest and transparent in order to support the senior management through this next exciting phase of the business.
It is essential that you will have taken SME businesses through exits previously, as well as providing the backbone of support and leadership to shape the business so that it is ready for that sale. Having experience of the construction industry would also be an advantage but not as essential.
