Operational Finance Manager / Senior Finance Business Partner |Crewe |£60,000 + Package including Car Allowance (£8000), Bonus (20%), healthcare, 25 days holiday.
The Opportunity
You’ll be joining in a business facing added value-focused role - a perfect opportunity for a commercially minded accountant who enjoys business partnering more than financial accounting!
It’s a thriving large and profitable subsidiary within an international manufacturing group. Based at a key production site locally your remit will surround partnering the senior leadership team to drive efficiency and optimization across the operation.
You’ll be drilling down into material and labour variances, providing insight into production performance, wasteage, product yields… lot’s of time out in the business rather than chained to your desk.
You’ll be shining a hugely valuable light on trends, variances to expectation and future forecasts…
It’s a role for a finance professional with epic communication skills and genuine business acumen. Someone who will love the cut and thrust of fast paced and innovative manufacturing.
It would also suit someone with high ambition - someone looking to continue to develop their career and progress.
This is a group which operates a true meritocracy and can offer incredible internal progression opportunity (locally and internationally if this is something that would interest you…)

You need:
- To be someone who enjoys the pace of manufacturing and will enjoy the continuous improvement and change that happens within FMCG.
- CIMA or equivalent.
- A track record of success in a role with a high degree of business partnering.
- Experience of working as a finance partner to operational teams / leadership groups within manufacturing.
- A strong background of management accounting and excellent knowledge of excel.
- To be a people person - someone who can bridge finance and non finance areas.
