Our London based local authority client are in need of an Interim Chief Solicitor (Planning and Property) to provide high level, expert legal advice and guidance to colleagues, managers, and partner agencies to contribute to delivery of the council's objectives and priorities.
You will lead by example in modelling and embedding the council's values and behaviours, working collaboratively with colleagues, partners and other stakeholders to help build a sustainable highly effective organisation and develop the organisation's reputation as a successful council delivering great value for its residents.
You will be responsible for leading and managing the Property and Planning division in Legal Services and to be part of the Departmental Management Team leading and setting the vision for Legal and Services. As well as specifically managing the Planning and Property lawyers to ensure the efficient provision of legal services to the Council and other approved partner bodies.
