You will be leading a team of circa 7 staff and be responsible for the budget monitoring, reporting and stakeholder engagement for a high profile area of the organisation.

My client is a very high profile Public Sector organisation based on the outskirts of Cardiff.
Description
Reporting to the Head of Business Partnering, The Senior FBP plays a Pivotal role in the success of the organisation
You will lead a team of c7 staff who are responsible for the production of the Management Accounts and budgets for this £100m budget area of the organisation.
As the Senior FBP, you will be responsible for Stakeholder engagement throughout your area and drive commerciality and cost control.
You will develop Financial models that will analyse budget v spend and long term strategic decision making.
Profile
You will be a fully Qualified Accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA - please do not apply if you are not qualified as you will not be considered
You will bring a high level of commercialism to the finance team.
Sector experience is not relevant for this role, what is important is great stakeholder engagement skills, people management and financial modelling skills
Job Offer
An initial 6 month temporary assignment that may get extended.
The client is also keen to speak to people who would consider temp to perm roles.
Salary £280 -£335 per day umbrella company (£55k-£65k)
Hybrid working - Its expected that you Will be in site 2 days a week to meet with budget holders
